eGrocery: Evolution, Revolution or Hallucination

We believe that, at best, eGrocery retailing will be a niche business. Certainly revolutions based on technology will change an have occurred in grocery retailing. Internet grocery retailing appears to be rapidly emerging as a new channel. However, the financial viability of the concept is still unproven. The impact of this evolution on traditional supermarkets will be limited, however, both manufacturers and retailers should carefully consider the consequences.
